Today was a calm day out on Monterey Bay and it seemed as our wake attracted hundreds of White-sided and Northern Right Whale Dolphins. The spectacle went on for more than 30 minutes, as dozens of dolphins surrounded the boat, with many more in the distance. It was one of the moments so great to watch I didn’t entirely focus on getting photos, but based on these results of only 30 frames, I’ll be more focused next time!

That’s a Northern Right Whale Dolphin in the front and a White-sided Dolphin in the back!
Oh and birds, yeah we saw some of them too, particular lots of Pink-Footed Shearwaters and Sabine’s Gulls.
